]]> The two biggest benefits of doing a meal prep is that it saves time and money.

Another good thing is that it couldn’t be easier.

Mason jars typically come in a pack of 6, so we’ve set up a pack and cranked out a weeks worth of lunch salads in just a few minutes.

What excuse will I use now to avoid eating a salad for lunch every day!?

The video above demonstrates how seriously quick and easy this is to pull off.

How It’s Done.

We start off with our dressings, we want these at the bottom so that we can keep it separate from other ingredients that could get soggy while sitting in the fridge.

Pile on your favorite toppings, like: Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Cheese, Etc…

Add your leafy greens ( We chose spinach since it’s green like lettuce but has more good for you stuff, feel free to add anything and everything you want )

Top it off with some raw onions… and some bacon bits for good measure.

Put the lids on, throw some protective  32 Oz Mason Jar Koozies on them and you’re on your way!

]]> Everyone has been talking a lot about how Jar-Z can help protect mason jars from falling and shattering all over the floor. We have been told thousands of times that we have saved countless jars from certain death. For Jar-Z, this is great news and we couldn’t be happier to hear that, either. That doesn’t mean we can’t push the Jar-Z through new challenged and obstacles though, and that’s exactly what we’re planning on doing.

First up on the challenge list is shooting it with a pellet gun. We knew going into this that the neoprene mason jar sleeve wasn’t going to save the day. We just also didn’t know what WOULD actually happen… So we did it. Check out the way the water drips out of the bullet hole! It looks straight out of hollywood haha.

Needless to say, we were right. The Jar-Z didn’t do much to stop the pellet. We can definitely appreciate the ease of clean up it provided though, and not having glass go shattering all over that we’d have to clean up, or even worse, to miss and have one of our kids pick it up with their foot!
